  • This is the worst venue I've ever been to, anywhere in the world, period. A venue so terrible even favourite band's shows are missed to avoid having to step foot in the door. I have personally boycotted this place, and I know several others who have done the same. Even contemplating attending a show here sends me in a rage-stroke and automatically depletes my bank account an extra $100. Attending a concert here feels like taking a cab to Burlington to a dance club that somehow managed to trick an artist into playing there. Main issues have been discussed in almost every other review. I hope bands (or their promoters) take notice of what a horrible experience most people have while attending shows at the sound academy, and avoid this venue (as fans now avoid shows here)
