| - The s/o and I were craving Thai food, but didn't want to drive all the way to our usual spot (Chanpen Thai), so we ended up at Thai Elephant instead.
The crazy beef salad is different from any other Thai beef salad we've ever ordered, but in a good way. The beef was crunchy, and the flavors were less limey and more garlicky. At first I was disappointed at how little lettuce there was, but it ended up being a good ratio!
We got our usual: yellow curry with chicken for him, and pad see ew with beef for me. He loved his dish, though I found my pad see ew a bit dry, hardly spicy (though I got a 4), and a bit lacking in egg. I did, however, like that they included cabbage, which differs from the typical pad see ew that only has a few sprigs of broccoli in it. The portions were large (about 2.5 meals for me), which was great, but I dont think I'll be back here again.
