As my family and I made our way into the annual Water Street Car Show, we saw Chef Flemming's BakeShop and knew we had to stop by after we were done checking out the hot rods. What really sold us was the storefront sign that reads, "A European Bakery". Did we really need another reason to go?
Despite the fact that we made our visit one hour before closing time, Chef Flemming's BakeShop had quite the selection to choose from. All of the baked goods are displayed in two glass cases and there's even a third glass case with sugar-free treats! Everything looked amazing. The bread, cakes, cookies, and pies! I wanted it all.
After taking forever to decide what I wanted, I settled for the Cinnamon Krispy. It appears to look like a giant Snickerdoodle, but it was actually a thin pastry. It was very light and crispy. I enjoyed it. The Fudge Brownie was delicious as well. Very chocolatey and chewy, just how brownies should be!
Such a great find and definitely a hidden gem in downtown Henderson. I can't wait to return to try more of their treats. The Danish Frog looks too cute to eat!
