| - Saw the EDDIE GRIFFIN EXPERIENCE show last night and had VIP 2 tickets. We were right up front, and the room was WAY smaller than we assumed. Honestly, all seats are good seats in the KINGS ROOM. But if you're in the very front, the comedians will pick on you lol
Richards Prior son was HORRIBLE. Barely even funny. The crowd was not laughing and he knew he wasn't doing a good job. The comedian from Detroit that's been seen on TV and also opened up for Eddie was great! He had the crowd cracking up.
Then Eddie comes out. THIS MAN IS RAW AND VULGAR LIVE! SO BE PREPARED! He goes in on EVERYBODY! Religion, race, culture, believes, values, you name it! If you're easily offended, this is not the show for you.
People in the audience were brave because they would respond to Eddie's jokes, and if it wasn't something positive, then Eddie would rip them apart. They didn't even stand a chance. He cursed out at least 5 people that night lol. The first was a Caucasian couple that walked out after like 30 minutes into his show.
But then like 15 mins before the show ended, the table behind us left. Two couples (they appeared to be from the middle east but not 100% sure) seemed to aggressively get up and leave. One of the guys in the group said something loud to Eddie and Eddie chewed him out big time!
The negativity in the audience was really pissing him off. After the show, we met Eddie Griffin personally. That was amazing! He then seemed so humble. UNFORTUNATELY, it was then announced that to get a picture with Eddie, it's $50 CASH ONLY! Definitely wasn't informed of this at the box office. UGH! I figured a picture would be included with the MEET &GREET. Oh well I guess!
Overall, his show is not for everybody. Just keep that in mind.
