I've coming to MSF for over a year and in that time I have to say that the experience could be better. The staff is hit or miss. Some friendly, others not so much. I've complained to the staff about the elliptical machines and how some of them are broke. Some of these machines have been broke for over a year and now at this point I just remember the machine number on the side and avoid those machines all together.
Issues with:
tv not staying on
reverse motion and machine shuts off
cracked phone holder
machine noise
Also if there are issues they have every excuse of why they cannot address the issue. But having 14 locations I guess you can't address all the issues, but I would think that the site manager should be responsible for the facility up keep and customer satisfaction, I mean 1 year+ with broken machines, come on. But then again he's just a kid and goofs around most of the time with his staff.
Maybe with time it will improve.
The rest of the gym is OK, some machines are quite old and they redesigned the gym recently. Added some weight bars/squat, obviously not asking the customers what they wanted to have and needed more of. Even the personal trainers were complaining about the redesign and the squat machines that were added, Someone just made the decision to add 1 half a wall of squat /weight press machines???/ go figure
I will say what will drive change is competition, and more other Gym options to choose from maybe in the future, but for now they are the only gym close by. So they sort of have a monopoly.
I'm moving out of the area, but wanted to post my feedback on my experience for people expecting to signup so they know what to expect and set the correct expectations
Also I think the personal trainers are great and the classes the teach and lead are good.
