Like the previous review, Aldo shoes are fine for what they are. They're trendy, of poor quality, and overpriced, but you can find some staples for under $100 that are okay to wear for a year or two.
My issue is not with the shoes but with the dumb ass staff. I saw a pair of flats, so I brought them to the counter and asked them if they have it in my size, 7.5. This completely trendy looking but slow girl needed to be prodded by another staff member several times before she looked at me. I asked her again. She looks down to her phone and presumably is looking for my shoes.
She tells me they have only 6.5 and that they can order it. I'm not going to order a pair of shoes that I haven't tried on. I asked her if she had any sample sizes. She said yeah, it's probably a 6.5. I slowly explained to her I can't fit in those shoes to try them on. Then she looked at me slack jawed and silent and didn't offer an alternative or anything.
I've been to this location before - second floor in Eaton Centre. I've never had to deal with this specific salesperson as they seem to have a high turnover rate. Regardless, Aldo's customer service has never been great. They don't try to help you unless you aggressively track them down between giggling with each other at the counter or rushing back and forth from the storage room to the floor. So as long as you don't need any help from their people, Aldo shoes are okay stock.
