  • Bajamar translates for those that are not familiar with Spanish to ~ Low Tide. Fear not as there is nothing low or substandard in this establishment from the amazing food, fantastic price point and outstanding service. With roots from San Diego Of the dishes I've had: The Pulpo Enchilado: (octopus) Sauteed pulpo with chile de arbol, Monterey cheese, red cabbage and salsa fresca. 5/5 my favorite :) Lucas Taco: Monterey cheese, grilled California pepper, sauteed shrimp and chipotle cream sauce. 4/5 * * Flavorful unfortunately it fell apart on me after sitting for 4 minutes while I consumed the Pulpo Enchilado. Shrimp Tostada Raw or cooked shrimp, salsa fresca, lime juice and avocado. 4.75/5 Bajamar Fish Taco Battered tilapia, salsa fresca, red cabbage and chipotle cream sauce 4.75/5 Some of the best seafood tacos/ tostadas in town. Manny (owner) is super personable and gives service above and beyond. The pride he takes in his business you can see in every interaction and dish served. I foresee many happy returns to Bajamar in my future and hopefully yours.
