| - My wife and I went to Rock Bottom last weekend. It was my first time there. I just wanted a burger and she wanted a reuben. Once we were seated, we sat there in our booth for 15 minutes without being waited on. No one came to talk to us about our drinks or what we wanted to order during that entire time. But we noticed another couple who sat down after us who had been given their drinks and their order was taken by "our waitress." We got up and started walking out. My wife said to two people, a waiter and one of the managers, that we were leaving because of the lack of service.
The manager, Summer, offered us a free meal on her tab if we could stay and enjoy the place. We stayed because not only would we now get serviced, but wouldn't have to go anywhere else. Our waiter was great at this point. He was checking on us every 5-10 minutes and at the end of the night, Summer provided us a $25 gift card to come back. This experience was more than what we had in mind, but it was great Summer was reaching out to us to make sure we could have a good time, get good food, come back, and tell our friends about the service we FINALLY received.
The food itself was OK. I asked for a medium well burger, but it was well done and tasted like charcoal, but I didn't want to complain anymore. The bottom line was they made my wife and I happy with the overall experience and we immediately told our family and friends about it. Next time we go, I just won't order a burger ;)
