  • I love the El Cortez! It's my fave place to stay on Fremont. I've been coming for about 10 years and have stayed in the gorgeous designer suites and the Tower rooms. This week I tried a vintage suite. It was so cute with old fashioned fixtures and door knobs. I love the heavy furniture and the room with the desk. Everything was clean and tidy. The bed was so comfy. We just spent 2 days at the Cosmopolitan so it was a treat to stop at the El Cortez for a night. Happy Hour at the Parlour Bar was fun and Siegel's 1941 restaurant serves a ribeye that is to die for.
