| - I've frequented this car wash three times now and I honestly don't know what happened to this place.
The first time I brought my car through, I was so pleased with the overall experience. The service was pleasant from the moment I pulled in, until I retrieved my car. I recall how nice it was that the young man introduced himself and said to ask for him as he would be happy to work on my car again. The second visit, it was a busy sunny afternoon and I accepted that it would take some time and things would be hectic. But last week, on a semi-quiet weekday morning, it took 1-1/2 HOURS from the moment I got my receipt for selecting the Gold Wash ($28.99) until I was told my car was ready. Wow, I should have brought a copy of War & Peace to read!
Also, it's pricey enough at $29 plus $5 tip, and while I'm not the type of patron who's going to walk entirely around the car and point out every little thing, I did have to ask that they wipe the driver's door threshold which was obviously still dirty. And another note, I know other full-service car washes have people that look over your windshield for chips and try to sell you on windshield repairs right then and there, but I sure do dislike being pressured about this. If I say "no, thank you", please respect my wishes and know that I don't want to explain myself or give out my insurance info.
I would have given one star based on this recent visit, but three stars is an average rating of my three visits. No plans to return again.
