Fair is fair.
Express Van Lines was contracted to move me from Las Vegas to New York. At first there was some misunderstandings, but nothing that related to the professionalism of their team. They were quick and efficient. And took care of our brand new furniture. From a first time mover in USA, I would advise that you as the customer aware yourself of many fees that could affect your overall cost of transport. Also don't be afraid of asking these questions as for the most part the movers want you to know everything, while still remaining competitive within the market. Ask about extra fees, stairs, elevators, long distance carry, truck size and transferring fees. Not to be hurtful but for you and the mover to completely understand the costs involved so you can budget ahead and understand the true costs. It will make the process and also the relationship between you and the transporter.
For the most part trying to find an amazing deal in the delivery industry is not going to happen as companies that promise a massive discount compared to the others are just breaking down the fees to its essential parts and not telling you of the other fees that are included at the transport. The industry is so competitive with fees that your mostly going to have the same price with all companies at the end of the day. So find the one that you like more than anything.
I can understand this competitive nature and EVL and company did the best job available to them while working with other third parties. I had to have my belongings stored and it was for two months and it was through EVL being patient with me as a client that I was able to do this. Without Their help and also understanding I would have been in an even more tight position. It is appreciated that he did this for us.
Upon finding a apartment I was able to get my belongings. EVL and team helped me in getting my belongings in a timely manner. They unpacked and even set up my house for us. It was great and professional.
I would highly recommend express van lines
