  • This review is for Fatima and the staff at Concentra Advanced Specialists...My husband transferred from Concentra Urgent Care (Polaris) to Advanced Medical Specialist for a workers injury. On 4-27 @1:00am we went to Polaris due to a complication in my husbands work injury, staff was wonderful, however that same day hours later my husbands work injury once again started to have complications, we returned again, only to become part of the worst patient care and tied between policies for workers comp injuries..because my husband had already seen a specialist he could not been seen at Concentra "polaris" location..they told us it was a mistake to be seen at 1:00am and we should have never been seen..with the visible complications my husband was having they told him the only person who could treat him was the specialist or go somewhere else, remind you this is a workers comp injury and we are not allowed to go anywhere other than concentra. They made us aware my husbands specialist that (concentra polaris )referred us to was not in the office and we would need to wait till Tuesday. They had us leave, with no where to go. We asked for the records so we could find someone to look at him and they told me i needed to return in two weeks for the records. it was so infuriating and unreasonable what was happening. After a very bad confrontation with polaris staff they gave me a copy of his record. Not knowing what to do we headed (with no appointment) to Dr.Colby's office hopping someone could give us peace of mind and help. We arrived at Dr.Colbys office and his front staff was the most understanding and compassionate people..Right away they got Dr. Colby's assistant Fatima. Fatima went above and beyond and got instructions from Dr.Colby. Immediately we began to see a difference in my husband injury. I can not express enough how thankful we are to Fatima because she did not just turn us away. She personally took what was happening and saw it through. She answered all our questions, gave resolution to the situation and gave us post op care. I could tell right away she is very giving and passionate about her work. She loves what she does and it reflects. Dr.Colby you have an amazing person working for you and the girls in the front are just as great. Thank you Fatima...to follow up after Fatima took care of us we received a call that Polaris location could see us if we went back!
