  • Legion has a really cool atmosphere and exceptional beer, a pretty great combo for a Saturday afternoon if you ask me! I initially heard about Legion while running the Orthocarolina 5k, 10k, and beer fest but missed out on Legion's free beer after the race. Seated in Plaza Midwood across from Diamond Restaurant, Legion is definitely one of the better breweries I have been to. They had a few beers that were on special, the pink and green cow, which were both beyond excellent. I ended up getting the dos amigos, but didn't like it as much as the others. The wooden furniture creates a comfortable feel and they have wooden benches and tables outside which are perfect when the weather is nice. Legion wasn't too busy for a Saturday afternoon and if I weren't driving I would've tried a few more beers to then comment on. I have no doubt I will be back to Legion in the future and look forward to it.
