Like most of the reviewers, we did not have the best experience at this location.
We have actually been here twice: once during their 'family' soft opening and once a week later when they were actually open. The first time, although brief, was not the most pleasant. We walked in following another couple and were greeted by a host who told us they weren't really open.... They were packed. They turned away both of us and told us to come back when they open. The host was kinda rude. They almost lost customers that day.
The second time we came we were told there was a 45 min. wait or we could sit at the bar. The obvious choice was the bar. We looked around and saw tons of tables open...why was there a 45 minute wait? The bartender was cool and took our order but things went south quickly. We ordered a specialty pancake and the chicken and waffles. It took almost 45 minutes to get our food and they brought us extra food. They brought the pancake out without the eggs and bacon I ordered, then the chicken and waffles, and then ANOTHER pancake with the meal. Anyone who has been here before knows that portions are not small here. The waiter said we could take the extra one home since they'd "have to throw it out anyway." So we ate our food which was pretty good- hence two stars. However, the bill came and we were charged for the extra pancake that we never ordered and were told to keep. The bartender took it off the bill and all was well.
There is obviously something wrong with the staff or management at this place because they're inconsistent. While we ate our food, a lady sat down, ordered the same thing we did and was brought her food within minutes. The managers/ owners don't seem to be so organized. We might give it another try, but I don't know.
