| - I was craving pho this weekend, so I turned to my trusty Yelp to help guide me to my salvation. Enter: Pho Da Lat. First, the interior is very nicely decorated. A little water feature at the entrance with live koi swimming around, and very tastefully placed Asian decorations throughout.
My daughter ordered the spring rolls and I ordered the summer rolls to start, which provides me with my only criticisms from my visit. It took more than 10 minutes to bring out our rolls -- and in fact, my daughter's fried spring rolls came out BEFORE my raw summer rolls! I'm not sure if they had to drive to the nearest body of water to catch the shrimp in my rolls or what, but it took waaaaaay too long to bring out some simple rolls. The summer rolls themselves were just okay, not as good as Maxim or Sekong by Night.
For our meals, I ordered the seafood pho (minus the fish balls) and my daughter ordered the curry chicken. The broth of my pho was absolutely delicious! It was flavorful and tasty, and I will definitely be going back for more! It included crab, calamari and shrimp. My daughter also enjoyed her curry chicken, although I wasn't that impressed with it when I tasted it, but, to each his own!
All in all, a good experience, and I'll be going back for more seafood pho. But they just need to speed up service a bit.
