| - I never write bad reviews because I am afraid to hurt businesses, but there is a first for everything. After driving 2 hours to the airport, sitting 2 1/2 hours in the airport, sitting on the runways for another 2 1/2 hours and finally getting to Phoenix, AZ after a 5 hour flight, I checked in to Four Points. The welcome desk was not welcoming at all as they only had 1 person working at night and he was tending to another guest. So I, and another person trying to check in had to stand there for a while before anyone would help us. I couldn't wait to get to my room so I could put on the TV, shower and go to bed. When I got to the room, it smelled like smoke. There was sticky stuff all over the desk. A cord was hanging from the TV and the TV did not work. And I couldn't call down to the front desk to complain as the phone was also broken. When I walked into the bathroom, someone's used razor was still in the shower so I had to throw that away. I figured I would just wash my face and go to bed at the point only I realized that they left me someone else's used soap in the soap tray. No new soaps found anywhere. Old water left in coffee makers, coffee filters out of packaging, nozzle of conditioner broken...and probably worst, handprints on the headboard. I honestly didn't even want to stay the night here but I had a company meeting the next morning so I had to suck it up. Thankfully I flew home the next day and didn't have to spend a second night at this hotel. Terrible experience.
