  • Any place that has chorizo as a meat option has to be good. Well not always but Mexquite lives up to that statement. Been wanting to try this place for a while because of some of the other reviews and I think I may have just found my new favorite Fresh Mex eatery. Being new, i asked for a recommendation and was given a few with the Tortas (sandwiches) or the burritos. Well I opted for what I usually get with other Fresh Mex place and went with a Taco Salad. I wasn't impressed with the whole wheat shell but that was my option and I applaud them for giving people a choice. The other additions to my salad included black beans, chorizo, and then the usual topics of salsa, onions, cheese etc. And it was quite tasty. one of the best taco salads I've had in a while. They also give you chips and your choice of salsa. I went with the hot. While the flavor of the salsa took a little while to get used to, the heat linger on long after I left the restaurant so that's a big thumbs up there! The restaurant itself is decorated in bright colors with a lot of pink on the walls and the padding for the booths. Not much else in decor except for signage for the restaurant. Overall a great place that everyone should check out.
