I have been to the LV Laugh Factory dozens of times and never had a bad show. I can always count on tons of laughs here. The comedians usually meet with the audience after the show and take pictures and sign autographs. They have headliners every day of the week. No dark nights.
The seating is in 2 sections and both are first-come-first-served. Best seats go to the first in line, but all the seats are decent. If you want a better seat, tip the second guy, not the first one that checks your tickets. Ask in advance if you want the VIP booth.
The bar is self-serve and often has a long line, so get your drinks (and candy, but no food) early. The (moderate) prices are posted on a big menu board near the bar, so no surprises. The bar is in the showroom, so you don't miss many of the laughs, but it is an interruption while you are dealing with the bartender.
