Had to revise this to 1 star. Finally was able to take it to a credible jeweler and found out the John Fisch's jewelry store has lied to us. They only fixed one side of the ring but told us they tightened each individual stone. They lie and do shoddy work. Absolutely deplorable. Stay away from this place if you care about your jewelery at all.
I will keep my other description up so you have the whole story.
How is this place 5 stars on Yelp? Yes, the area is shady but the reviews were great so I tried it. I took my Grandmother's antique engagement ring to get a small diamond reset. It was a 4 day wait on a simple fix. Not too big of a deal but surprising when all the reviews I read about the store say, "quick," service. (My "credible" jeweler resized it in just a matter of hours, mind you.) I got the ring back and I found burs on the band from how the jeweler mistreated our ring. I do not understand how one could take such little pride in their work and finished product. It wasn't a TOTAL disaster but the treatment of a sentimental and rare piece of jewelry like that warrants 2 stars. (I SPOKE TOO SOON! 1 star. After learning the truth I wish it allowed for negative stars.)
