| - Right at Yonge and Eglinton (below the Rose and Crown), a real treat to getaway from the norm.
Today, we're always connected. If not, there always to be anxiety. Well, put your phone away and close that laptop. This is a throwback to real human interaction. As a result, there is increased focus on the act and words resulting in a different world experience.
3 main acts.. 1st, more of a 'beginner', 2nd more polished and experienced.. 3rd, the 'showstopper' who is very experienced, quick on his feet and really involves the audience (this particular one did it in a friendly way). Obviously it'll vary week by week.
You can order food and drinks during the show. There is a place out front with pool table, fooseball, bar, etc, to hang out before the show starts. Theatre is in the back.
They are a bit strict in letting people in when the whole group is not there.
Also, I would say, if they handed out a little phamphlet or sheet with the names of the performer and where you can follow-them I think would be helpful. All in all, a experience and activity outside the norm.
