  • Worth the wait just to try it, but I doubt I'd wait that long again. You have to keep in mind that this isn't your average cheesecake. It's less sweet and lighter than the typical NY style cake, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The madelines sold are also not the typical French cookie. Their madelines are more of a cupcake and were much denser than I anticipated. I wasn't the biggest fan of these, and wouldn't get these again. I did love how "cute" everything was. Ah, Japan, the premiere exporter of all things cute. Would love to see Uncle Tetsu grow in Toronto with new locations - including a dine-in experience!
