| - I stayed at the Linq in January 2015 for a business convention, and found the hotel to be a good value if you want to stay on the strip for a reasonable price.
The Ling, which was formerly the Quad, which was originally the Imperial Palace is located between the Flamingo and Harrah's and across from Caesars Palace.
The Hotel is currently in the process of being updated and remodeled, so you'll see construction occurring in some of the guest areas. None of it was a bother, and I never heard any construction noise.
All of the staff we came in contact with were very friendly and professional.
The main restaurant is the Hash House a go go which is great for breakfast. They have a starbucks. Adjacent to the Linq is a outdoor entertainment area which has lots of restaurants and shopping and the High Roller attractions is also there.
The room was small, but recently remodeled, everything seem very new. There was a a medium size HD television with lots of cable channels and PPV. There was a small frig, a room safe, and an iron/board. The room was very cleaned and well maintained. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. My only two negatives are there are no drawers in the room to store your cloths, and the AC unit blows directly onto the bed in a 2 bed room (Make sure you are covered up). There is no coffee maker in the room.
The bathroom was also very small but very clean, maintained, and recently updated. There is granite and marble everywhere. There is a walk in shower with a body wash, shampoo, and conditional dispenser. There is also a make-up mirror and a blow-dryer.
Overall, I felt that I got a really nice room for a great price so I am very happy with my experience. I would stay here again, and recommend this hotel to all of my family and friends.
