I put one star because I would not desire to go back and would not recommend my friends to go, here's why: If you have any slight dust allergies, don't do claustrophobic situations, don't want to spend a long time looking for what you need or care about receiving decent customer service then skip this place. I had heard about the bad customer service previously through yelp, but figured if I could get out of there with awesome fabric deals I could totally sacrifice that!
While some fabric was awesome others were overpriced and some even looked particularly old and very damaged. I was surprised that (what i thought were) common sewing notions were not carried there like invisible zippers and black thread. No need to get upset over that though. At this point I just felt bad for dragging my poor friend here as her allergies got triggered with the dust and I found myself coughing more than usual and I myself am not easily affected by allergies.
Even though they have a number system here for the cutting counter they don't use it and instead resort to shouting at you even when I was already at the counter. Hello! I'm right here!:) The rest of our conversation was unpleasant as well. I kept my head up though, I just wanted my cute fabric, but the cherry on top to my experience was at the checkout counter. When just as I was raising my hand to collect my change the young lady tossed it at me, along with my receipt. She tossed it.
I just stood there collecting the dollars and picking each coin off the counter without so much as even receiving a glance from her or even an "i'm sorry", texting was more important for her in this case.
I figure they forgot to add an extra 'S' to their store name.
