| - Tindr date appropriateness - 4 out of 5. Afternoon date would be perfect. Later at night it might be too busy and crowded.
Came here for a drink during a Tuesday afternoon. A lot of the bars in the Noda area don't open until 5 pm, but this one opens at 11:30 AM except Monday. There were only a couple other people in the bar, but the vibe was welcoming and chill.
Nice bar, feels like an interesting mix between trendy and dive bar. There is seating at the bar as well as booth/tables, but as it's a small space I imagine it can fill up fast.
The specialty cocktails have fresh ingredients (lime juice was being hand squeezed), there's a beer tap list, and in general the liquor selection is large. Menu is nice for such a small establishment - tacos, sandwiches, oysters, sandwiches, sausages, salads, and snacks and sides.
For my peeps on restrictive diets:
(This is not reflected in my rating, it is purely to help those of us on restrictive diets find places to eat and get drunk. My reviews reflect gluten, cow dairy, soy, sugar, starch, and sugar free). The bartender Ryan was VERY accommodating in finding something for me to drink that isn't just a vodka soda water. The lime and lemon juices are fresh squeezed with no additives. The flavored vodkas are infused. He was able to make me a citrusy drink that tasted so GOOD. It is very rare to find a bartender who's willing to figure out a fun drink. Food wise, the oysters are definitely an option, but without the cocktail sauce. They have free popcorn, but it's crazy salty so I hope you like puffy ankles. A salad could be put together with a bit of work. They do have goat cheese which can be substitute for the cow dairy. Tacos will not be possible as the tortillas are flour.
