  • I received a QMAX facial at the Thornhill location the other day - what a great experience! My first impression of the clinic was it was very bright and clean with beautiful decor. The staff were warm and receptive; immediately greeting me as I entered. I filled out some forms prior to receiving my facial and then went into the consultation room. One of the specialists did a consultation to go over the facial process, and told me all of the information I needed to know. The specialist (I forget her name - so sorry!) was extremely nice and knowledgable. She then asked me some questions about my skin and let me address my skin concerns. The process itself was quick and painless. They used a special technology that uses suction and exfoliation to gently remove all the dead skin cells, blackheads, whiteheads and impurities. It then infused the skin with the vitamins and active ingredients tailored to my skin type (combination of acne reducing ingredients to help my breakouts and hyaluronic acid to help with fine lines). I liked the feeling of this - it was a slight pulling motion but I found it to be relaxing. What made this different from other facials I've had in the past was the combination with light technology - which helped to eliminate the redness (my skin is sensitive and gets quite red) and reseal the pores infused with the nutrients. Afterwards, I was given a cute little post-care package which included moisturizers and creams to apply the next couple of days. The next day, my skin felt extremely smooth and a little bit tight (as to be expected). The after-products worked great and provided immediate, soothing relief. I even had friends and coworkers comment on my skin's radiance! I definitely noticed a different in my skin's brightness and pore visibility. Overall, I would highly recommend Q Esthetics to any person in Toronto looking to get any type of facial or medical procedures done! I will be back!
