One of the funnest bars I've been - of course with fun people just as well. Our first visit was a checkoff item from Kat's dream list :P Satifactory completion. Though I think a return visit should be added to her list.
I completely misinformed some friends about there being food served here. Addendum: ONLY on Friday and Saturday WITH a table reservation via purchase of a pupu platter. Oopsies! But on the weekdays they allow outside food because of the fact. Generally they do not have food otherwise. The kitchen isn't a full kitchen; no capacity for food service.
After learning this, I was excited to have bff Elaine and her hubby check the place out for their drinks and kinda date night for them. Reserved a table as mentioned above, and had a group of friends again enjoy this tiki atmosphere. It's sort of a happy place. Makes one feel like when you walk out, you'll step onto a sandy beach!
Not exactly the case here... however!!! Do have the island flavored drinks with all the fruity greatness and happy power mixed into them! My recent fave MANGO BATIDAS! Yesss I favorably suggest it especially if you're a mango and coconut craver.
Best bar features are the huge clam shells sticking out from the walls with the brilliant lighting. They not only have three tables decored with side-eye photography hahahaaa (you'll see what I mean) - tables seat six butt-butts, but there are plenty two seater tall tables against one wall. Bar seating if you wanna drink and gamble. Plus there's a private party section near the DJ booth at the back. Cool place guys!
If you haven't yet experienced a tiki type hangout; try here! Drink up and flying toasts to you :D clink clink clink
