Good food takes time.
I am the biggest whiner when it comes to waiting for my meal. I get hangry in moments, and I have struggled for years with my relationship to Omnivore for this very reason.
Am I a masochist? Why do I keep coming back? Am I simply addicted to their delicious wraps? The answers: kind of - it's conveniently located and healthy - and yes, I have an addiction.
Today I am dining in, which is unusual and spontaneous of me, and I also ordered a trio because I just got my butt kicked at Yoga Vieux Montreal (see my review there!). The good news is that 2/3 of my trio (a hot infusion and a fattouche) were served within minutes. The great news is: this salad is da bomb. Why have I wasted so many years getting my meals to go when dining in is such a delightful experience?
Look, everyone will tell you the food is great here but it takes forever. Well, if you want your meat cooked that morning (or - gross - the day before) go to some cheap, greasy, late night diner. If you want yummy (and I think you do, because you came to Yelp for advice), come here.
My sandwich arrived in the time it took me to write this review. See? Not that long. And mmmmmmm... Totally worth the wait!
