| - I've only ever had one thing here - which shouldn't be too difficult to believe as they have only three options in their store! I had heard about this place that opened up by Yonge & Finch. Although I don't doubt that their cheesecake and cheese tart are good, I was told that the best and MOST delicious option would be the double fromage cheesecake ($18.75).
Half baked and half frozen cheesecake covered in cheesecake crumbs and frozen, that's pretty dang convincing if you ask me. I was enticed, but I don't know if I was convinced. Upon picking this bad boy up, it had an hour or two to sit before we actually got into it and sat in the fridge for a little while. I will tell you that it was delicious creamy. You can definitely see, after cutting into it, the two layers, but once in your mouth, they actually mold together into one creamy delicious layer. It has the slight density of a baked cheesecake but the creaminess of a frozen one - well done! Definitely something different and unique from the other jap cheesecake places out there.
Although the cake IS a tad pricey, it's definitely something worth a special occasion, it's not a huge cheesecake, it will only probably fit 6 people - not huge slices. But it's presented beautifully in a wooden box and delicious.
