| - Synopsis: Mandy is not about her customers' convenience, not professional and, surprise, would not refund the deposit. Long story: Mandy's website portrays her as someone whose business is based around convenience for the customer, it is anything but. My 85 year old mother had just spent 10 days in the hospital and was desperate for a haircut and manicure but was not strong enough to get to the salon. I called Mandy and told her all this and we started texting back and forth. She kept telling me "I'll let you know my availability when I get home tonight hon" and then would not follow up until I got in touch the following day. We finally made an appointment, for which she required a 50% deposit, no problem. The day before the appointment she texts to ask if she can reschedule because she has to take some exam and its the last day for her to take it. So clearly her lack of planning, but my problem apparently. In spite of the fact that I am juggling multiple home health appointments for my mom, I accommodated Mandy's schedule (how's that for customer convenience?!) The day of the appointment I texted to say I'd meet her at 1 pm, the time we set. For the very first time Mandy said "oh it will be between 1-2, I can't guarantee I will be there exactly at 1." Um, excuse me? I moved other appointments to accommodate your schedule and you said 1 pm and now, 2 hours before you tell me its not a set time? I had moved other appointments to accommodate her need to reschedule and now I had to shift them again. Mandy was not in the least understanding and was rather put out that I did not understand the fact of her convenience. Naturally it went south from there and surprise surprise surprise with people like this, she refused to refund the deposit, not a single cent. I would second the reviews of Jessica and Jennifer, this woman has no professionalism and certainly is not in anyway about anyone's convenience about her own. Avoid avoid avoid
