I cheated on my nail lady...and was it worth it? Was the grass actually greener? Yes and no.
My sister and niece come here. And once upon a time when I lived on this side of town, I did too. They moved locations...same shopping plaza, different area. It's bigger and they offer more services. Good for them.
My sister drew a photo for me and told me which technicians to go to lol. Unfortunately for me none of them were available when I went. Anyway, I went in with a design in mind but they didn't have rhinestones and they also didn't have the color I wanted. Or maybe they did but she got tired of looking for it. If you've ready any of my other reviews on nails salons you know that I'm very indecisive. I need someone patient and she was anything but. I was bummed I couldn't get the design so she started recommending some. I appreciate that but if I say no then it should be no. I don't want to feel pressured and I'm doing this new thing where I stick to what I want. #newyearnewme
At the end of it all I got baby pink and ONE rhinestone which cost $1 lol. I was going to get foil but she said it would've cost $5/nail. So...$50 + $35 for the fill + $1 for the rhinestone. No thanks. Also, my friend got a gel manicure with foil on all her nails and paid $40. Not sure how mine was less but cool.
I would come back just to try someone else. I like this place bc the overall price doesn't seem insane but the service and explanation of costs could be better. Also, be patient. You wouldn't blame someone for being picky about their eyebrows or wax would you? No. If I'm gonna pay for something then I need it to be worth my money.
