Been coming here since the owner had her little joint in Tempe on Broadway!
The food is still amazing: Fresh, organic, local grown, tasty, traditional, rib-sticking and satisfying.
As a European, I have to say her food is pretty spot-on and authentic. It reminds me of my relatives cooking as a child. Very good snitzel, to-die-for Swedish meatballs with lingonberries! My always first go-to though is the Poutine. Good eating!
The owner is a sweet and wonderful woman whom takes her time to say hello to each customer and make her way to each individual table to say hello and check on the meal/ service. The chef is a kind Russian man who is very good at what he does.
make sure to come early or call in advance because this place fills up quick! Especially now that she is at a bigger location.
and Don't forget dessert! The beaver-cookies are so good.
