| - This is not the place for everyone! I lived here for almost 2 years and I am happy to be a homeowner for hundreds less a month. Here's the scoop:
-the office staff are very friendly and seem to have your best interest at heart, but completely lack follow through.
-yes, they left the entire complex in disarray for MONTHS! There was no pool, no gym, no paint on buildings, no leasing office, and no front entrance for way to long. It was terrible, but that's over now and the renovations are beautiful!
-they are still renovating units so there are still an excessive amount of shady looking guys all around property. Who are still DUMPING PAINT IN THE GRASS/ROCKS WE WALK OUR PETS!
-I have had mixed maintenance experiences from great to terrible. Our garage was fixed OVERNIGHT when it broke unexpectedly, we are grateful. However the laundry door is super broken, they "fixed" it twice but was never actually fixed.
-the absolute worst part of living here are the hoards of fertile cats that roam the neighborhood. It is terrible smelling, trashy looking, and drove our dog crazy! The worst part is that they allow residents to put out huge bowls of food and water and blankets for the cats to congregate at. It's disgusting and shouldn't be allowed.
-the gates are always broken! I would assume because the gate system runs on wifi, and if the wifi is down, the gates can't open. Which is especially annoying at 2am when you are locked out of your damn home because the gates won't open!
-the location is convenient to almost everywhere. I never had a security problem and always felt safe in the neighborhood.
-the walls are terribly thin, you better hope the people next to you don't get a new puppy that barks for hours after it's parents leave for work in the morning.
Overall it was okay. There were ups and downs, our strongest motivator for leaving was the cost of rent was too high, and the cats were absolutely terrible and completely sanctioned by management. Management should have done something to fix the problem of what I can guess are over 80 stray cats.
