This is my go-to place whenever I'm craving for milk tea. I wouldn't say its the best, but it's decent. Cha chan tangs are much better but too bad there's none near the financial district. The closest one would be Phoenix on Yonge and Elm.
They increased their price on everything so tea is now more than $2 (before tax), which is pricey for the quality. Breakfast combo is now $5 (including tax) for 2 buns and a medium tea/coffee. My fav bun is the BBQ Pineapple bun; you can't compare to any other uptown bakery stores. It taste the best when it is hot and the top is still crispy. My second favourite is their almond twist. The BBQ Pineapple is the most expensive compared to the rest so it's a better deal when you get that for your combo. It's $1.85 each. I'll give the bun a solid 5 stars.
Their minced pork steamed rice is also good because it's a mixture of white and red rice but kinda dry. It used to be $5.99 ( before tax) but it's now $6.75. Everything is getting expensive, so its time for me to find something cheaper and healthy.
