| - I have two girls at NCA full time; my first started around 2 in the Berry Patch and my second started at 8mo in the baby room. We have been there over two years now, and I have only the best things to say about this gem of a school.
My girls have been in 4 different classrooms since they started and literally every single teacher has been loving, enthusiastic, invested, hands-on, respectful, patient and focused on giving each child what they need to succeed. I was very anxious the first day I dropped my little one off in the baby room, and when I came to pick her up after day 1, the teacher had worn her in a sling almost all day to help ease the transition. My oldest told her teacher we were taking a trip to the Grand Canyon, and the teacher spent time all week with the class researching fun facts about it. These are just two (out of a hundred) examples I could give.
NCA teaches character building and kindness; each child truly has a voice and feels empowered to make his/her own choices. I am constantly amazed at how the teachers show each child how to handle tough situations, how unkind behavior can impact and influence others, how to respect each other and how to face conflict at a young age. The strength, social skills, manners, independence and respect that is taught across each classroom has had an amazing impact on my little ones, and I have learned a lot as a parent along the way. Yes, my 4-year-old can write her letters and count to 100, but the character education she has received the last couple years has shaped her into a wonderful human. I am truly thankful for this place and the impact it has had on my family.
