I'm totally mixed on how I feel about this situation.
The spa is beautiful, clean, and friendly. At first glance, everything seems like it'll be just perfect. The tank itself is probably more than you might expect. Sleek, comfortable, and futuristic.
The one problem here is one that I don't think they can fix- the subway. They seem to have almost everything else figured out in terms of how to enhance the experience, but every 3-4 minutes you can hear the rumble of the subway beneath you. This completely shifts the experience of the sensory deprivation tank. I have to say that every time the subway rolled by I completely snapped out of the state that I was blissfully entering (and at times it seemed like the world outside was ending). Unfortunately with the rumbling the experience will never been as good as it should.
If they relocated away from the subway I'd definitely be back for the prices they are requesting. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to get the subway out of my head next time.
Still highly recommended for the experience, but if you are looking for a 100% sensory deprivation experience, I'd say this comes in at 80%.
