Honestly I got Groupon tix for $15pp. I don't feel it was really worth it for what was available. Only a few vendors had samples. I'm not complaining about lack of freebies due to being cheap but rather because the advertising says they'll be samples so it's a little misleading when you get there. I went to one of the tented areas to experience a chef presentation & that was probably the best experience of all. I was hoping there'd be more food vendors, restaurants & other vegan food companies so I could possibly fall in love with some new vegan products. Sadly it wasn't a very big event. Including the 45min demo with the chef I'd say we were ready to go in 2hrs. Tons of tshirt vendors which had excellent designs, 3 Indian restaurants, 1 hot dog vendor, 1 pizza vendor, a couple food trucks but that's it. I did purchase a vegan protein powder but other than that and a hummus vendor I was unimpressed. Save your $$
P.S I also wanted to mention this was more of a vegan festival than a vegetarian festival. I'd say 90% of the clothing was in reference to vegans specifically not vegetarians. Nothing had dairy so the pizza was with vegan cheese which is great of course but some of us attending really would've liked more options.
