| - Easily one of my favorite places in Vegas. In the 3 days I was there, I stopped in here 4 times! This became "our bar" for me and my friends -- half of which I met after stopping in here! There are few places on the Vegas strip where you can get decent (or decently priced!) beer, but this is one of them, And it's local! The space is nice and the door is always open. It's small but bright and inviting, and there is a lot of clever decor: the barstools have devil tails, and there are chalkboards on the wall that ask for customers to "Confess Their Sins". My group's biggest sin...devouring an absurd amount of Secret Pizza from the Cosmopolitan (check that place out, too, and bring some pizza into the brewery to enjoy with your beer!).
The bartender, Joey, was welcoming, entertaining, and knowledgeable about Vegas restaurants and activities. My friends and I had a lot of fun chatting with him during our visits to the brewery. The other bartender (can't remember his name) was also super fun and friendly. They are generous with samples if you want to give the beers a taste before committing, as well.
Beers were also really solid, if not particularly unique. I'm picky about lagers (you can't pay me to drink big name beers like Coors Light or Bud), but their lager is excellent, especially on a sweltering 115 degree day in Vegas. That became my beer of choice for the trip. Make sure to stop at the top of the escalator leading outside the brewery (connecting Planet Hollywood to the Cosmopolitan) as there is often someone handing out BOGO Free coupons for beers at Sin City Brewing. Though at only $6/pint they won't exactly break the bank like trying to drink at other locations on the strip.
