This is absolutely as good as it gets. Unfortunately after being in this lounge, everything else, including the Centurion lounge in SFO is downhill. Where to start?
They have side by side hot and cold tables with dozens of yummy treats for breakfast lunch and dinner. The service staff is wonderful and the mixologist whips up some pretty fancy libations. But wait, there's still more... They have bowls of fresh fruit around the entire lounge. But not just bananas and apples, but oranges, mandarins, kumquats, rambutan, and pomegranates -- yes, pomegranates. No clue how anyone would peel 'em, but they have 'em.
Seriously, I have started booking stopovers in LAS just to drop by the lounge between flights.
A special call out goes to Anna at the reception desk. Right after lunch on the Vegas Strip, I picked up my luggage and left for the airport, giving myself plenty of time to catch up on work in the lounge before my 7:00 flight.
As I was walking to the lounge I felt queasy and knew I was starting to have a major celiac (gluten) reaction - which I did for the next 3 hours. Anna took very good care of me letting me lie down in the children's room with a cold compress on my head.
When I recovered, she told me that she peeked in every so often and was ready to call the airport paramedics if necessary. I have one recommendation. It would be nice if they had space for a quiet room with "Cleopatra chairs" for people to lay down. Other than that, it doesn't get any better than this!
