  • This review is for brows only. The check in was towards the back. I provided my name and was told to pick out a colour (oops), when they realized I was getting my eyebrows done. I was told to sit at the bar and wait my turn. Despite it being lunch time, the location was busy and bustling with staff. I had an appointment with Asha. She was right on time, friendly, and professional. We had a brief chat before she started and she advised that she does most of the brows at Her Majesty's Pleasure. She examined them a bit prior to waxing them. She spent a decent amount of time applying strips, prior to applying dye. She then applied a post-wax cream of some kind, I assume to soothe the area. I'm happy with my brows but I think for how much both services cost ($45), I don't know if I'll be back. Yes, it's in a chic area on King St W, but I don't think the cost is warranted. Places with lower rates will offer to touch up makeup, for example. Asha's definitely a pro at what she does, so my score is more for the location itself.
