| - I am a long-time Bare Escentuals customer (7 years) and was so disappointed with the customer service I received here that I am actually considering no longer buying their products.
I had bought $100+ of products from their outlet and realized I needed a new bronzer, so went to this store since it's way closer than going back to the outlet.
As soon I came in and asked to exchange my items, the rude associate retorted they don't accept outlet products. I corrected her, saying I read the store policy, and that regular retail stores do accept the products as long as they are still sold at that retail store, which my items obviously were (they were sitting right next to the counter).
Without apologizing, the associate took my items to return and then after tinkering with the computer said I was eligible to return them. I selected the bronzer I wanted to exchange for instead and as she was ringing it up, said she couldn't figure out how to override the prices I paid at the outlet and therefore, couldn't complete my transaction. She said I would have to mail the products to some customer hotline. Why would I want to wait another however many days, when I am standing in the store right now?
Ridiculous. It's a shame because I have been a die hard Bare Escentuals customer and have recommended their products to my friends, but no more. No matter how loyal I am, I am no fan of poor customer service.
