  • We contracted with them for a relatively simple home addition that was suppose to take 4-6 weeks. They stuck a huge sign in our yard, mostly advertising, saying they needed it for the building permits. We thought, all right, they will be starting on this soon. It has now been over six months. Without constant calls and reminders, they do nothing. Initially they said they had to wait for inspections, which sounded reasonable, but we realized the inspectors came out right after they were called. Gorilla was just using it as an excuse to take a month off. We've also had issues with theft by their subcontractors that they refused to take responsibility for. The quality of their work is certainly adequate, but in the time it has taken for our one room addition, a four story office building has gone up around the corner.
