  • I wish I would have read the other reviews before I went to NoDa nail salon. I thought $40 for Shellac was pretty expensive but I figured $20 for a Groupon was reasonable.. Shellac, a HAND MASSAGE, and "complimentary beverages". It took multiple phone calls to make an appointment, and when we finally got one, we arrived on-time only to wait half an hour... with no apologies from the staff. We were never offered a beverage, even while we were waiting for half an hour! When I finally get to my manicurist, she starts complaining about how she's been there since 8:30 that morning with only one 30 minute break. Seriously??!! It was 1:30 PM. I kept waiting for my awesome hand massage to come around... not thinking they would ever consider quickly rubbing lotion on my hands to count as a "massage". After 2 days my Shellac polish chipped. I will not return to NoDa Nail Salon and I'll be sure to tell my friends to save their money.
