Honestly, anyone giving this 3 stars or above must be entertained by watching children's cartoons in the morning on a box tv. It does not deserve anything more than 1 star.
FOOD: not as overpriced as airport food, but $10 for a panini was WAY to high. It was microwaved beef thrown in a supposedly toasted panini, but it was hard so maybe just reheated! Fries were good.
My mother got a hotdog. She was not told it was a pretzel hotdog and the pretzel hotdog came out hard and cold with a Luke warm hotdog on the inside.
EXHIBITS: I felt HORRIBLE for the animals. The plants and coral are all FAKE plastic! You spent millions building this place and then have the balls to throw in plants and then charge $140+tax for 4 people?
The Algae eaters were all very hungry and were trying to eat off of the plastic plants they were so hungry. These animals do not move much, and to see 5 ravage up and down these fake plants for food was disgusting to watch.
1/2 of the exhibits had dirty merky water. No it was not the salt. If you look up in some exhibits you can see a film covering the top of the water!!
I saw a total of 3 dead fish floating at the bottom! Possibly food, but the uneaten food was disintegrating and making it mucky.
THEATRE: The theatre is small projector with rows of benches covered with bench pads!! It is NOT a theatre. It is literally a room where they teach you about a whale, packed with people sitting on benches that weren't even on an inline. So you better not have someone sitting in front of you! About 15 rows.
There was no giant octopus as advertised which everyone was looking forward to seeing. Entire exhibit I could of walked through in 30 minutes of I went at my pace.
The place was tacky and I feel horrible for the fish floating above in the entrance in giant round bowls with ZERO plants. They used real fish to decorate empty bowls hanging from the ceiling. They all just stayed stagnant with no escape.
This place is maybe worth $10 a person. But honestly, I would of asked for my money back if I were not with family.
Can't imagine the environment the Dolphins will be in when they come in the near future.
Some exhibits still had tape on the outside of the glass from where they painted! Sheesh!
