| - Thoroughly impressed. Parking, like everybody else has mentioned, sucks. However, once you get inside, you realize why this place is so jammin'.
So many great stores! The facades are beautifully installed and designed! Why can't any malls around my home look like this? Somerset, you come somewhat close. Almost there, but not quite. :\
I'm not going to bother listing all the stores here that are awesome (you can check it out at their website if you are interested), but big ups to a Microsoft store (apparently they just opened on November 17), and Tesla Motors. You don't ordinarily see non-apparel driven brands being showcased in a consumers mall, but here at Yorkdale? You will find it. Amazing. :)
Loved the Anthropologie store exterior, but the inside was too crammed for my liking. Still prefer the ones here in Michigan. More space, and better inventory. Great food court, though I didn't personally eat there, but the offerings were fantastic. You got your Indian, ramen, Greek, Middle Eastern, pizza, juice bars, sushi, chinese. All in one convenient spot! Next time I'm back, I'll have to try a few of these places. :)
We parked in the Northeast parking area, and were super lucky to have found a spot while a lady was about to pull out. Otherwise, who knows how long we would have taken to find a spot. Just be patient.
We'll definitely be back. Probably not to buy anything, unless it's a MUST-HAVE item, but definitely for their food court. :)
