  • A previous Yelp-er said this shop is "the most fashionable salon in Phoenix" well that is pretty sad, considering it looked like any other nice salon I've seen- it wasn't particularly remarkable- not terrible, not world-class either. Ignore what everybody says: Phoenix is a VERY small town, if this is the coolest salon here. It is a small shop. I was informed that all of the stylists have 10 yrs or more experience, which is a big plus. BUT: (Reason For Only a Two-Star Review): I'll be delighted to leave a proper star review if they shall merit it. I'd made an appt mid-week for a weekend cut, yet when I showed up for it the stylist was a No-Call No-Show, nor had anyone bothered to call me and let me know that my appointment is canceled! NO COMMUNICATION: Review your appointments and ensure you have staff, contact customers if there is an issue I waited a half hour in the shop in hopes my stylist would show up. There was one other stylist in the tiny shop cutting hair while I waited in vain.Upon finally giving up on waiting for the mystery stylist that never arrived, the one stylist there just said she's sorry but no one asked me to re-schedule? Is this the way they want customers to be treated in this manner? So nonchalant. If they will take initiative to contact their customer base on their stylists not showing up, so their customers will not schedule their entire weekend around a salon visit to have it suddenly canceled, perhaps things would go a bit smoother. If there is a Next Time and someone is available to cut hair, and I am given a proper hair cut, I will leave a better review. The schedule on the door read "OPEN Sun. 12:00 a.m. til 5:00 pm" which I thought was interesting, what a great idea to be open late on Sat. nights! Wow I bet their business would take off like a rocket. It took a good moment for me to realize this was a misspelling on their part. Oops...! Lounge, take a minute to go over the "small things" those can make, or break! Your business. Another telling clue is the very lack of reviews.
