| - I made an appointment earlier in the week at this location; and my 19 year old Son, second year College U of A was here two weeks ago, and had been here the prior year for an Eye exam and Contact lenses. he was quite pleased two weeks ago, and brought home a variety of Free Samples; he was quite pleased, and if you can please my Young Adult Son, i decided to contact them myself.
I have not had an Eye Exam in probably 30 years! I have been using Reading Glasses for the past 5 years, buying higher and higher strength levels. My Primary Care Doctor said it was time to have an Exam....I am 54 years Old, and lasted a long time without really needing to do this.
Anyway, a Staff Member called the day before my appointment, and left a very detailed message that my Insurance will only cover the Exam, etc. under certain circumstances; and he wanted to make sure i knew, and DID NOT want me to be surprised when i showed up for my appointment the next day. I was quite pleased at the "Advance" Customer Service, and phoned back the next morning and had spoken with Marisol, who is a Technician, and explained everything to me.
I ended up keeping the appointment, and showed up about 30 minutes early. There is variety of paperwork to complete, and i should of printed this from there Website, which i would recommend everyone to do; why wait until the last minute and do it there?
Marisol was my Technician, and i surprised at all the High Tech Equipment used in the Preliminary Exam, before you ever get to Doctor Sang; i though what Marisol was doing was the Exam! Anyway, Marisol was Excellent, in keeping with our initial phone conversation. She explained all of questions away.....then brought me to Doctor Sang.
Wow, another set of High Tech Gadgets, and refined and finer detail of my Eye Issues. After a lot of Testing & Question and Answer, Doctor Sang said i was in pretty good Eye Health! She had written me a prescription for Eye Glasses at 2.5 Strength. I guess that's not bad for 54....
I had all my paperwork completed by Marcos and Alex, and they were excellent as well. It was not that busy for a Saturday, on a Holiday weekend afternoon, and there was other Staff there servicing new customer' in Sales when i was leaving. I would make an appointment, as i am quite sure this is a high volume store. Overall, and excellent experience in all respects. I can now personally recommend, and understand why my Son has now been going there for two straight years!
