We were in Madison for a week and had originally booked a room at a downtown Madison hotel. We checked into that hotel -- at a cost of close to $200 per night -- and after two nights had our fill of a hotel in disrepair with staff that took zero effort to make guests feel welcome.
Fortunately, we were able to book a last minute room at the Courtyard for the remaining five days of our trip. We checked out of the downtown Madison hotel and made our way to Middleton. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very welcoming front desk staff and allowed to check into our room several hours early. The room (on the fourth floor) was immaculate. However, what is most impressive is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Everywhere you go, they are greeting you and asking if everything is OK. The hotel is immaculate and very well maintained. Breakfast service, while not included in the room rate, is reasonably priced, well prepared and delicious.
We will definitely stay here again. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The entire facility is beautifully maintained.
I recommend the Courtyard by Marriott in Middleton without reservation.
