| - Let me begin by saying that you can do this. Yes, you. It's easy to let your mind tell you what your body can do but your mind doesn't realize how strong your body really is.
I started going to pure barre about two week ago and immediately fell in love. If you are looking for a workout that is going to strength your muscles, improve your flexibility and leave you feeling empowered then pure barre is for you. My first class was exceptionally challenging. Victoria, one of the many wonderful instructors here, was so encouraging and supportive that I finished the class and I felt empowered by my body to do better the next time. And yes, there was a next time.
Every class I leave feeling a little stronger and a little more proud of my accomplishments and that's all I need to return.
In terms of the trainers, as I mentioned, Victoria instructed my first class and she was incredible. Since that class, I have worked with Victoria and Darla. I think both of them are fantastic and I highly recommend starting with either one of them. The staff at pure barre is friendly and welcoming. Even after my first class, they all made it a point to know my name and greet me when I walk in. This helps me to feel like I belong here and that's very encouraging.
The studio itself is simple and very clean. There are plenty of weights, balls, mats, and bands so there's no need to bring your own.
Overall, I love pure barre and like I said, so will you. So put down the phone, pick up your keys and head down to pure barre and start to lift, tone and burn!
