Had the unfortunate pleasure of finding this place on my yelp. Manstop was about 10 mins walk from my home and yelp said they only do appointments and No walk-ins; so I fill out the appointment form and everything looks good. So, I walk in the snow 10 mins and find the place and I'm punctual on time. All the barbers are busy and they say please have a seat. I'm waiting 15 mins and then one guy is like I will be with you in a minute and I'm like okay let's get over with it. Suddenly, I see a printout hanging on the wall "Only cash or debit". I don't like to carry cash and never carry my debit cards I just carry my credit card. But I can add my debit card to Apple Pay. So, I ask the guy if they have a tap on the payment machine. He is like NO. Then, I ask him does your website or yelp or your appointment confirmation email says "Only cash or debit"? And then they ask around and check the website. NOPS, this rule is only implemented by a printout on the wall.
At this point, I was already pissed having walked in the snow to get a haircut and they can't do it. I'm waiting for them to say something to try to retain my business, he is like there is Scotiabank in front. Instead of offering to cut my hair and take the money next time or tomo or something. I just walk out. Really disappointed. Worst experience ever!
