  • Here I ponder the demise of the failing casino, since Boyd Corp took over.. Unfortunately they seem to have someone at Sam's Town running mgmt here, they closed the buffet here and expect everyone to visit firefight buffet next door (too much hassle, lines too long for a so-so buffet). This use to be a favorite local casino. Now it looks like a ghost town, making the casino look busy by having the employees park up front toward the street.. I feel bad for the employees here, as Boyd is making every effort to deter people away from this casino. Promos are less for players ( example free night stay, but must pay resort fees, in the past it was comp, it was totally comp, ridiculous) More review to come, they closed Carve and the sport deli - why??? Eastside staff and crew are great, they are getting the short stick from upper upper mgmt
